What it is
A HELOC lets homeowners borrow against home equity. The Fortune BELOC lets you borrow against business equity — the value locked in your revenue, IP, contracts and customer base. It's a revolving line: draw what you need, repay from revenue, draw again. Your limit grows as your business grows.
How your limit is set
Our valuation model scores four pillars from your Fortune profile:
- Revenue — level, growth and how much of it recurs
- Contracts — signed agreements, purchase orders and letters of intent
- IP — product, patents, trademarks, data and proprietary processes
- Customer base — size, retention and concentration
Strong pillars compensate for weaker ones. The output is a credit limit between £10K and £250K, refreshed as your numbers update.
What founders use it for
- Cash-flow smoothing — stock ahead of the season, payroll across an invoice gap
- Growth sprints — hiring, marketing pushes, new market entry
- Bridging — covering the gap while a grant or big contract lands
Eligibility highlights
- Registered company with a business bank account
- Trading history — typically 12+ months of revenue (strong contracts can shorten this)
- Evidence for the pillars you claim: accounts, contracts, customer data
- No pitch deck. Ever.
